Join us during Downtown Hammonton’s Third Thursday events this summer for a pop-up farmers market featuring local small farmers who grow with organic, sustainable or regenerative practices. The Green Market will also feature vendors with handmade, homemade, eco-friendly crafts and wares. Our first market day was June 16 – a great start!
The Green Market on will be held on Third Thursdays this summer.
Visit the Green Market Thursday, August 18 & September 15. The market will be right off Bellevue Avenue on Horton Street and will run from 5-8 pm.
In addition to some amazing vendors, we will have live music, family/kids crafts, free seeds from the mobile Hammonton Seed Library, free reusable bags and more!
AUGUST 18 – THE QUIXOTE PROJECT
Join us for some great live music from The Quixote Project; roots music that pulls from traditional genres to blur the lines of modern music.
“Frontman Jeff Selby with a revolving cast of musicians have distilled the multi-genre sounds of a beachfront music festival into a remarkably cohesive live set, with hints of bluegrass, folk, and rock in a style that would be pigeonholed as “jam” if the songwriting wasn’t so explicitly pop-oriented” says Dave Fox of Music with out Labels.
September 15 – Sharon Sable and E. Shawn Qaissaunee
Together, Sharron and Shawn create a beautiful soundscape that is both bold and understated, appealing to music lovers of all kinds. The musical paths that have brought them together are rich and varied and weave elements of jazz, folk, world, pop and much more into their memorable and engaging performances. The repertoire they present together includes lilting songs of the Great American Songbook, Brazilian Bossa Novas, French love songs and Jazz arrangements of contemporary Pop music. Sharon and Shawn are recognized as two of the region’s most beloved interpreters of song with frequent appearances throughout the east coast including their current hometown of Wilmington, DE.
